Keyboard shortcuts
From Impure Wiki
Keyboard shortcuts can save you a lot of time. As described in Library, you can search for and add modules to the stage without ever moving your mouse pointer to the library. Just click on any empty spot in the stage and press one of the following letters to choose a module type:
- s for Data Structures
- o for Operators
- v for Visualizators
- c for Controls
- a for Apis
Then use down and up arrows ↓ ↑ to select module, and finally ENTER ⏎ or right arrow → to place module on stage (in the cursor position). Clicking the stage or pressing ESC will close the library.
These are the current keyboard shortcuts (for Windows users, use your Control key instead of Command:
D to duplicate a module or group of modules (press key and drag module or group of modules)
⌘C to copy a group
⌘P to paste a group
⌘A to select all modules on stage
⌘X to copy and remove a group
DELETE ⌫ to remove a group
SHIFT ⇧ to select more than one module (clicking on them with the key pressed)
SHIFT ⇧ to allow rectangular selection (pressing the key and dragging upon the stage)
Image below shows a rectangular selection with the SHIFT ⇧ key pressed.
This video-tutorial shows the shortcuts in action.
